Mr. Timothy Askew is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Ophthalmology for Leiters. He draws on more than 20 years of experience bringing innovative healthcare solutions to market. He is the founder of Hunt Valley Pharma LAB, anophthalmic compounding company which was acquired by AIS Healthcare in February 2020. Previously, he was the CEO of Tissue Banks International, the world’s largest provider of ocular and musculoskeletal tissue, and of CSA Medical, where he commercialized a liquid nitrogen device that eradicates cancerous and precancerous tissue. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from Boston University. He has volunteered for several organizations, including the Maryland Innovation Initiative and the Wallace H. Coulter Foundation Oversight Committee at the Johns Hopkins School of Biomedical Engineering.
