Tom Flynn

Board Member

Mr. Flynn’s broad investment experience spans a wide array of outpatient provider services and outsourcing businesses that support clinicians. SV board seats have included Aerocare, DPT, Health Payment Systems (HPS), Jet Health, Leiters, Maestro Health, myOrthos, Remita, Nordic, Schweiger Dermatology, Spectrum Professional Services and Urgent Team.

Before joining SV, Mr. Flynn was a partner at Ferrer Freeman & Co., a healthcare-focused growth capital investor. From 1996 to 2010, Tom has served on numerous boards, including Aerocare Holdings, Amerita, Inc., GeneraMedix, Genova Diagnostics, PHNS, as well as Physicians Dialysis and Vitalize Consulting Solutions, both co-investments with SV. Previously, he held investing roles at GE Capital and Prudential Investment Corporation.

Outside of SV, Mr. Flynn is a Trustee of his alma mater, Austin Preparatory School in Reading, MA and is a past board member of Caroline House in Bridgeport, CT, a Catholic charity serving the needs of immigrant women and their children. He and his wife live in Brookline, MA and have been active fundraisers for the Pan Mass Challenge, in support of the Dana Farber Cancer Center in Boston, MA, and for the Pelotonia, serving the James Cancer Center in Columbus, OH.

Mr. Flynn holds an AB in Economics with Honors from Holy Cross College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
